I just wrote a post at Banks.com about how people losing their homes to foreclosure are abandoning at a disturbing rate their dogs, cats, and other pets along with the house. My friend Ivy has a pack of cats who are cruising her neighborhood with apparent abandon, non-neutered and non-spayed so they are breeding more homeless kitties.
She managed to rescue one kitten and tells us about Shadow at Animal Shak. As I told her over there, reading about her new kitten has my biological cat clock ticking.
Tick Tock Tick Tock.

I’ve rescued as many kitties as my guardian angel will allow…but it’s the dogs that’re dumped that just break my heart. There used to be farm land behind my house, but the greedy developers decided that the land could be better utilized as a subdivision……
