It has been too long since I’ve dropped a post here, but I still write daily at Shak & Jill and Banks.com (if you miss me) and regularly at This is LaVergne.
This is a summer for which I’m truly grateful. I’ve got to spend a lot of time with my family. My youngest daughter was in a baton pageant in June and it was wonderful spending time with her and rooting for her. We got to stay at the Peabody Hotel one night and it was great fun. My sister came along too, so that made the trip even better! Last week, my oldest daughter and I toured the campus of Middle Tennessee State University and I think she was duly impressed. I am hoping she’ll get started on her essay for the Buchanan Scholar application.
In addition, I won the TOP AGENT plaque for June in my office. That was pretty neat – my first time! I expect I’ll get in the Top 5 or Top 10 for July as well, but probably not #1 like in June. As if it doesn’t get any better, someone (or some people) nominated me for the DNJ’s Ruthie Awards for favorite real estate agent AND favorite real estate agent Smyrna.
